Ever wonder what can happen to your pool when it rains? Well you can bring in contaminates from the air as the rain comes down. Thunderstorms especially can create some problem water.
Make sure you shock your water after a rain/thunder storm and also have your professional water care specialist check for phosphate.
Remember an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. It takes a whole lot of effort to rid yourself of a green pool. Why not simply ensure your pool doesn’t go green in the first place. Keep your water in balance (calcium, alkalinity and pH) and make sure you always have 1-3ppm of sanitizer (chlorine) along with weekly shocking and you should be good to go!
