While watching the news early this morning it was noted that it is Earth Day today! This made me think about our fiberglass pools and how eco friendly they really are and also reminded me of a story a client shared with me.
This client had a friend bought a house with a fiberglass pool and was not a swimmer and unfortunately didn’t see the value of pool ownership. He therefore hired a company to remove the pool. He then sold the pool and filled in his backyard and he did this will no cost to himself as he recouped the cost in the sale of the pool. This is far better than filling in a concrete of vinyl lined pool. Not only did he recoup his costs but he did it in a manner that was good to our planet. Kudo’s to him!
